Since state Treasurer Jennette Bradley lost her bid for re-election bid Tuesday, the question around Columbus City Hall has been: What will Bradley do next?
Some politicos view the Republican as the most logical choice to challenge Democratic Mayor Michael B. Coleman if he runs again. Bradley served as a Columbus City Council member and as lieutenant governor with Gov. Bob Taft in 2002, before he appointed her as treasurer in January 2005.
She's about the best Republican that Columbus can hope to get, but if black men keep getting hauled away in body bags as Mayor Mike Coleman sits around watching, maybe there'll be a Columbus version of Rudy stepping up to the plate?
