Smoking Nazis Dealt a Blow

From the AP via the Akron Beacon Journal:

A Franklin County judge ruled Friday that a portion of signatures supporting a statewide indoor smoking ban are invalid, but whether that would keep the proposed law off the November ballot is unclear.

SmokeFreeOhio, a coalition of health groups behind the proposal, will appeal the ruling and if unsuccessful has 10 days to gather replacement signatures, spokeswoman Tracy Sabetta said.

The Health Fascists have won most of their battles over the last two decades, so I cannot view this as anything other than a temporary setback. Still, it's nice when the bad guys lose one, even something so small as this.
