...as for the Democratic gubernatorial nominee, Congressman Ted Strickland, Burress says, "He's a Democrat who sticks to the Democratic platform and what he's been told to do, and that's pro-abortion." The pro-family advocate says he would not put much credence in polls regarding Strickland as voters have not yet had time to learn who the candidate really is. He suspects the candidate will try to hide his liberal record from the voters and "come out talking like he's a man of faith and the son of a preacher." However, Burress asserts, the Democratic congressman's "actions in the House and what he believes are far from what Ken Blackwell believes," and the Ohio activist adds that he agrees with Blackwell when he says to Strickland, "You can run, but you can't hide."
