Summit County

Some early returns

On the Democratic Side, Strickland a big winner (73.97%). AG, Dann looks to be beating Chandra, 59 / 41%.

In OH 13… The Drumroll please:
Representative to Congress 13TH CONG DIST (WITH 143 OF 251 PRECINCTS COUNTED 56.97%)
CAPRI S. CAFARO . . . . . . . . 3,901 19.36
NORBERT G. DENNERLL, JR. .. 68 .34
BILL GRACE . . . . . . . . . . 158 .78
GARY J. KUCINICH . . . . . . . . 1,757 8.72
MICHAEL LYONS . . . . . . . . . 255 1.27
THOMAS C. SAWYER . . . . . . . 8,205 40.72
BETTY SUTTON . . . . . . . . . 5,486 27.23
JOHN L. WOLFE . . . . . . . . . 319 1.58

If this holds up, it seems like bad news for Sutton – this is as close to her base as it gets. Key will be how well Sawyer pulls in up in Lorain. On the Republican Side:
Governor/Lt. Governor
(WITH 235 OF 475 PRECINCTS COUNTED 49.47%)
J. KENNETH BLACKWELL. . . . . . . 7,885 53.32
JIM PETRO . . . . . . . . . . 6,904 46.68

Representative to Congress 13TH CONG DIST
(WITH 143 OF 251 PRECINCTS COUNTED 56.97%)
PAUL S. BURTZLAFF. . . . . . . . 519 7.57
C. J. DELOREAN. . . . . . . . . 599 8.74
CRAIG FOLTIN . . . . . . . . . 1,902 27.76
DAVID MCGREW . . . . . . . . . 2,567 37.46
JOE ORTEGA III. . . . . . . . . 1,265 18.46

I don’t think that McGrew is going to pull enough difference here to offset Folin in the rest of the district.
