From the AP via The Plain Dealer:

In Mahoning County, there was confusion about how to vote for write-in candidate Charlie Wilson, a Democrat running for Congress.

One perplexed, pen-wielding man in Youngstown wrote Wilson’s name on the voting machine’s screen, said Joyce Kale-Pesta, deputy elections chief.

A poll worker showed the man how to correctly cast a write-in ballot using the electronic key pad and used her saliva to wipe the ink off the screen, Kale-Pesta said.
