'Voinovich sides with Democrats'

So sang the Cincinnati Enquirer headline reporting that our junior senator voted against repealing the taxation of dead people. It was "for the children" don't you know.

A little something to remember when Cryin' George "Pop Tax" Voinovich comes up for reelection.

Between this and his votes agains "tax cut extension," which was essentially a vote for a tax increase, given that the current system has been in place for about 3 years -- Definitely not forgetting.

I think the estate tax is really one of the worst things our government does (see here and here).

That Voinovich should be on the wrong side of the issue shouldn’t come as a surprise anymore. Ohio conservatives should start getting a primary challenger ready now.

I nominate John Kasich to run against Voinovich

I'm not convinced that Kasich would be much of an improvement...but more on that, and Kasich's book, over at WMD at some point.....

I am fed up to the gills of phonies and empty suits like DeWine, Voinovich, and Taft heading up the party ticket in this state. I decided to become active precisely to keep clowns like these off the ballot in future elections.
