Does "Charade" Brown Endorse Kerry's Rhetoric?

Earlier this week, Senator John Kerry (D-MA) had the following to say about our troops:
“Education – if you make the most of it and you study hard and do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

(Watch Kerry deliver his hateful message on YouTube)

Kerry followed his attack on the men and women serving our country at home and overseas by releasing a statement attacking Republicans as “assorted right-wing nut jobs."

Congressman Sherrod Brown endorsed Senator John Kerry and has appeared with him on the campaign trail. Does that mean the Congressman Brown also endorses John Kerry’s demeaning and disgusting remarks about our brave men and women in uniform, proudly volunteering to serve their country in the War on Terror? Congressman Brown should immediately renounce John Kerry and his insulting comment about our troops. Call Congressman Brown’s campaign office now and demand that he do so: 440-282-3314.

The Strong Connections Between John Kerry and Sherrod Brown:

John W. Ryan, Campaign Manager for Sherrod Brown (OH) to the ultra-liberal DailyKos Internet blog:
"Senator John Kerry helped our campaign at a critical time -- and an early time. He helped us raise money from his supporters for our race, which helped us fight back Republican attacks and let voters know how Sherrod Brown is fighting for the middle class directly to Ohio voters. Senator Kerry's support for our campaign allowed us to be in a strong position to turn Ohio blue." (Link)

“In this cycle Kerry has raised $100,000 or more online for 11 Democratic candidates: Sens. Maria Cantwell (Wash.), Bill Nelson (Fla.) and Robert Byrd (W.Va.), Reps. Sherrod Brown (Ohio) and Harold Ford Jr. (Tenn.), Missouri state Auditor Claire McCaskill, Hennepin County Attorney Amy Klobuchar (Minn.), Webb, Iraq war veterans Tammy Duckworth (Ill.'s 6th District) and Patrick Murphy (Pa.'s 8th District) and retired Admiral Joe Sestak (Pa.'s 7th District).” (Link)

“U.S. Rep. Sherrod Brown of Lorain, a former backer of Rep. Dick Gephardt, endorsed Kerry on Thursday. Gephardt is planning to campaign for Kerry in Ohio on Saturday and Sunday.” The Associated Press, February 27, 2004.

“Kerry utilizing his 2004 election clout email list to pump up the cash volume is what's expected from a former Democratic presidential candidate. But he has been relentless in pressing for funds through the clout he's earned. $1,654,100 raised online from the community for Senate colleagues and challengers, including $ 167,373 for Sherrod Brown. Here's more from Kerry's PAC. And another $835,000 raised at a series of fundraisers for colleagues and candidates, including a Sherrod Brown fundraiser on September 9th for $30,000.” (Link)

Here's what "Charade" Brown is saying at the moment (AP via Forbes):
Rep. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat leading in late polls in his bid to unseat Republican Sen. Mike DeWine, said Republicans are merely trying to change the subject. "The people who should apologize are George Bush and Mike DeWine for sending our troops into battle without body armor and without examining the cooked intelligence," he said.
I just wish there was video/audio for that...
